"Sadie Damn-it"
Tonight we were all just sitting around the living room, Brandon was playing in the giant pile of an over turned toy-box and and Bill and I were sitting and talking while our dog Sadie was laying next to us. Sienna came over and sat down next to Sadie and started to watch tv. She started petting her quite sweetly and saying "Sadie" in her high pitched cute little voice she uses sometimes. So we had our "Aww, isn't that sweet moment" when she started saying her full name, "Sadie Damn-it". She kept repeating it over and over again. Bill and I just kind of looked at each other like did we hear that right? I feel I may be to blame for this, apparently I say "Sadie, Damn-it!" way more then I should. I'm still sticking to the fact that I think she said "Sadie, stop-it."
BTW: her full name is Sadie Marie, not even close.

Sorry for the Messy Blog!
My pictures are gone and I'm sad.
Photobucket "assures me that they are doing everything in their power to remedy the situation" but, I haven't seen anything yet.
So, yes I know the blog is lacking in the visual department. I hope to have it back soon.
BTW, Photobucket "sincerely apologizes for this inconvenience". lol

I'm here, really!
I was talking to my less then web savvy parents tonight. It seems that they decided to check my blog for an update on how we all were since they hadn't heard from me in a few days. I'm very impressed. =;) Love you!
Unfortunately there was no information here on said blog either.
Really, all is well, just very busy. Very busy not doing what I need to do and lots of what doesn't need done. I really have to work on this.

Snakes Alive!
My son has two of these wooden snakes.

I swear, every time I see it I think it's a real one. I think he leaves it just sticking out of the sofa cushion or poking it's little head from under a table on purpose to scare me. I really don't mind sneaks, I just don't want them in my house. So tonight, he's slithered into my dinning room so I could come across it, in the dark and scare me once again. I hate these snakes.

Red Light, Green Light
My new vacuum has a red and green light on it. Red means the carpet that your over is still dirty and the green tells you when it's clean. I never enjoyed vacuuming before and now it's just giving me a complex.

Kiss
For the past few days I have caught Sienna kissing random things. Hello wall, kiss, hello book, kiss. I hope this isn't going to be a problem when she gets older.

Christmas Stress *rolling eyes*
I'm starting to stress over Christmas already this year. How sad is that? I promised myself that I was going to take it easy this year and not worry so much about getting EVERYTHING done, but here I am researching gift ideas already.
I was even thinking the other day about having to lug all the decorations down (that have long been covered up by other worthless stuff) and having to decorate. Do you want to know a secret, one of my favorite parts is taking DOWN the decorations and having my house clean and back to normal again. I really do love the holidays, I guess I'm just odd.

Bad job
I've not been doing a very good job at keeping this up this week and I have to promise myself that I'll get better with it. I'm tired tonight and a random thunder and lightening storm just came through. I really need to finish up some work that I have due for tomorrow but I just get sucked into my computer and then *poof* it's 2 hours later and I never even open up my projects.

It's OK
I think it's funny how as your kids go through new stages, you as a parent have to change too.
I was talking to my husband tonight on how I have to change my tactics with the kids, Brandon especially, because most of the time it's just not working. He's getting too old for himself. Does that make sense?
He's 3, I have to keep reminding myself of this daily. He's only 3. He acts so much older sometimes that I just forget.
I have to remember that 3 year olds like to act silly and push your buttons.
I have to remember that it's ok for him to be a little timid sometimes and just experience things first.
I have to remember that it's ok for him not to get along with his sister every waking moment.
And, I have to remember that at only 3 years old he is still my baby boy who I love more then life itself.

Shopping with Pajamas
There was a time where I would have never done this. Now, as I'm growing a little older and I actually stop and think, why not? Tonight I had to run out to pick up something I needed. I had just finished putting the kids in their PJ's when I remembered. I could have re-dressed them and looked presentable or do what I ended up doing and just taking them, cuteness and all. Brandon just had a pair or sweatpants on and a T-shirt so no biggy. Sienna on the other hand had on a purple polka dotted pair of footy pajamas....yes, too cute is she.
So my light bulb moment was this, why should I inconvenience myself by having to wrestle my children (again) to get dressed and then ready for bed (again) because "someone" may look at me out of the side of their head and wonder why my kids are out in the store with their pajamas on?
So there...that's my "ah-ha" moment of the day, I think it was a long time coming.

Broccoli
Last night we had Broccoli for dinner. While fixing the kids their plates they actually started fighting over who had more broccoli, this meaning they WANTED more. I must be doing something right.
Nap Time
Brandon has a tendency to sneak over to my bed and watch tv while he is to be taking a nap. Sleeping in my bed at nap time, fine, watching tv instead of taking a nap, not fine.
So I started taking the remote with me and just laying it at the bottom of the stairs so I remember to take it back up with me at some point. Today, somehow, Brandon managed to open the door, sneak up and down the stairs and retrieve the remote from the steps. All this while I'm literally like 5 feet away.
I heard voices and figured he had just gotten up and turned the tv on manually (imagine that...lol). So I go up stairs and he's sitting there enjoying is cartoons holding onto the remote for dear life. I asked him where he got it and he said that he went down stairs and got it. "You never told me I couldn't go get it Mommy."
Case in point, I must remember to be more specific next time.

I Wanna' go to School!
I signed Brandon up for an exercise type class at out local rec center and his first class was last week. He did great for the first 15-20 minutes and then it was hit or miss as to if he was participating or not. I didn't feel too bad, there were some other children that had no clue there was even a class going on.
After class was over we started talking about how we are going to pay attention next week (I think even a bribe came up, hehe) and he asked if he could go to his class now. I explained to him that that was his class. He then asked me where the tables and chairs were and his teacher. It's not that kind of class buddy!
So today I remind him about his class and he asked if I could just find him a class with a REAL teacher. "I'm ready to go to school Mom, I'm a big boy now." WAHH! Tears and protest coming from me but I just smile and say "Yes honey, you are a big boy now aren't you." "But your still going to finish this class.....lol"

Dr.'s Office
Am I really that difficult to talk to? I'm finding it more and more frustrating to talk to doctor's offices. They act like they are going out of their way to help me. Um, isn't this your job? The staff at these places are horrid, awful and mean. Like I woke up this morning to call your office just to piss you off. I need help and you are offering a service. Aghhh. I'm sorry that me having a problem is inconveniencing you from drinking your Starbucks.
